Violinist and Minnesota native Eleanor Bartsch has a diverse repertoire that ranges from baroque music to that of the 21st century.  A member of both the Madison Symphony and Wisconsin Chamber Orchestras, Ms. Bartsch is also an active chamber musician.  In Madison, she performs regularly with the Madison Bach Musicians, Wisconsin Baroque Ensemble, and UW Contemporary Ensemble, among others. While completing her undergraduate degree under David Perry at UW-Madison, Ms. Bartsch was a member of the Perlman Piano Trio, and was also a winner of the school’s concerto competition.  Outside of Madison, Ms. Bartsch has performed with the Knights (Brooklyn, NY), the Aspen Chamber Symphony, the Chicago Philharmonic, Midsummer Music Festival (Door County), the Chamber Music Society of Minnesota, the Minnesota Orchestra, and others.  She also enjoys coaching first violin sectionals every Saturday morning for Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras. Eleanor is currently a Paul Collins Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellow studying to earn her Master’s Degree with David Perry and Felicia Moye at UW Madison.
